Perhaps born around the idea that ‘‘I thought it was just me (but it isn’t),’’ Womn-Kind is a unique source of personal empowerment and emotional support with a strong philosophy of girls leading girls and young people leading young people.

Womn-Kind provides access to support in an approachable, relatable and non-intimidating way and is striving to create a community where girls can gather and share a set of experiences. We are all exposed to forms of adversity throughout life, testing one’s resilience and sometimes, personal character, although as a teenage girl, the path is one well-travelled.

At Womn-Kind, we are the reassurance behind a friendship or family fall out, the listening ear when you’re not feeling yourself, the experience behind writing a killer resume, the reminder that seeking help is in fact a greater reflection of courage than it is of weakness and if nothing else, we’re the big sister with the voice of:

Together we nurture the upcoming generation of empowered female leaders in taking charge of their mental health and having the confidence to speak up and the knowledge in how to respond to people who might be struggling.

We have a vision to close the gap in effective support and mental health education for adolescent girls and create a network of young women who feel cared for, loved, capable, strong, important and as though they belong through creating a reputable, reliable, relatable, safe, non-judgemental, dynamic and interactive space to gain support.
